A KIND HEART is an adult family home for people who want to continue an independent living, but who need some daily assistance. We want residents to think of this as their home & another part of their family. We will give them comfort & a kind care. We are the extension of your family.

It is our goal to meet & surpass this philosophy.

Medical Director's Profile

 

Timothy J. Smith, MD

Timothy Smith, MD, is a board certified internist who was born, raised, and educated in New Mexico. He received his medical training from the University of New Mexico Medical School, and completed his internship and residency at Martinez Veteran’s Administration Hospital which is affiliated with the University of California at Davis. In 1981, Dr. Smith joined his brother in Internal Medicine practice in Seattle.

In April of 2001, Dr. Smith began work as a primary clinician for a company that does visitation into private homes, assisted living and adult family homes for the elderly and disabled. He joined Northwest Geriatrics in 2008 and continues to work specifically in the adult family home industry, treating patients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Dr. Smith remains at the forefront of development for home visits and the return of the “house call” by helping to cater to all aspects of comprehensive geriatric care. In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys the outdoors, piano, and horseback riding.
